One arrested for taking bets on Aussie-Lanka ODI
Bangalore, Feb 22 (UNI) Sleuths of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) today arrested one person for conducting bettings on the ODI cricket match between Australia and Sri Lanka played at Melbourne today.
Besides Rs 72 lakh, two mobile phones, a television and documents relating to transaction of Rs 75 lakh in bettings were seized from Sarvesh Chandra Kumar, during a raid on his house following a tip-off, police said.
