NHAI accepts IRB bid for Surat-Dahisar section
Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) IRB Infrastructure Developers limited has won a bid from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the Surat-Dahisar BOT project.
NHAI has declared IRB infrastructure developer as the successful bidder for the project involving development of the existing four-lane Surat-Dahisar section of NH eight into six-lane. The company is requried to execute the concession agreement for the project within 45 days, a release stated.
IRB currently is developing 12 BOT projects in the roads and highway sector. Out of these projects 11 projects are in the operational phase. Among these completed projects, one of the project is the concession rights to Mumbai-Pune corridor including the Mumbai-Pune Expressway to be completed by August 2019, the release added.
