Madhya Pradesh budget on Feb 27

Bhopal, Feb 22: The state's annual budget for 2008-09 will be presented in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on February 27, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said. Mr Chouhan told this to reporters after a cabinet meeting. The Assembly's budget session is beginning on February 25.

Madhya Pradesh is far away from achieving the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015, if one takes into account a mid-term evaluation report prepared by a voluntary group, Triple 7 Report.
