J and K infiltration bid foiled, two terrorists killed

Srinagar, Feb 22 : The Army reportedly foiled an infiltration bid by two militants on Friday in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara District.

According to defence sources, troops of the 12 Mahar noticed some suspicious movement near the Line of Control and followed them. hen the militants opened fire, the retaliatory firing resulted in their deaths.

This was the first infiltration in Kashmir Valley this year.
