Four persons killed in road mishap

Lucknow, Feb 22 (UNI) Four people, including three government personnel, were killed when their car collided head on with a state roadways bus at Harchandrapur area in Rae Bareilly early today, police sources said.

They said the incident occurred when a Panchayati Raj department junior engineer (JE) Braj Bhushan Mishra, Excise inspector Munna Singh and his clerk were heading towards the state capital from Mirzapur in a Bolero car.

Their vehicle collided with a roadways bus near Gangaganj.

All the four aboard the car, including the driver, succumbed to their injuies on the spot.

A case has been registered and corpse were sent for postmortem, they added.
