Britney's pal Sam Lutfi's restraining order extended
Washington, Feb 22 : Britney Spears's pal Sam Lutfi's temporary restraining order preventing him from approaching the pop star and her family has been extended until March 17.
U.S. District Judge Phillip Gutierrez's extended the order on a request from Spears's father Jamie Spears, who is co-conservator of the pop star's 100 million dollars estate, reports People.
Jamie asked for the order - which was set to expire on Feb 22 - to be extended until the judge rules on an unusual civil rights challenge to the singer's conservatorship.
The restraining order mandates that Lutfi stay at least 250 yards away from Britney, her homes, the Spears family and their homes. It also forbids him to make any contact whatsoever with the pop star.
The temporary restraining order alleges: "Mr. Lutfi has drugged Britney. He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He claims to control everything."
