Aditya Chopra files for divorce

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Leading film-maker Yash Chopra's son Aditya Chopra has filed an application in the Bandra family court, seeking divorce from his wife Payal Khanna.

Aditya had moved out of his father's house and has been living in a five star hotel for several months.

Legal experts said that as per the law, the court has to give counselling to the couple at least for six months. Thereafter, the court will be hearing the petition for future course of action.

Aditya is believed to be the brain behind the successful film ''Chak De''.

Meanwhile, actress Rani Mukherjee's family has denied that Rani is seeing Aditya.

Rani was unavailable for comments on the issue.
