Lindsay's dad won't view her nude pics

Washington, Feb 21 : Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael has not seen her new nude pictures, and neither does he plan to do so any time in the future.

The pictures Michael was referring to were the ones where the young star recreated Marilyn Monroe's legendary 1962 nude photo shoot by Bert Stern.

"I'm not going to look at the photos - that's my daughter!" he told Usmagazine.com in a telephone interview Feb 21.

Even though he will not be viewing the pictures, he still approves of his daughter's decision to recreate the iconic 1962 photos known as "The Last Sitting" for New York magazine.

"Lindsay is an adult, and she knows the direction she wants to take her career. It's her decision," he said.

"The fact that the photographer [Bert Stern] who did Marilyn Monroe's pictures would ask Lindsay to re-create them ... that's an amazing thing," he added.

One thing he hopes doesn't come from the photo set, is the way Marilyn Monroe lived her life and met her end.

"I pray there are no parallels to her and Marilyn Monroe's destiny," he stated.

Monroe had died of an overdose of barbiturates at the age of 36, a fact which 21-year-old Lindsay is aware of and which she vows will not happen to her.
