Land lease cases: Ramoji Rao surrenders

Visakhapatnam, Feb 20: The leading Telugu daily Eenadu and ETV group Chairman surrendered in III-town police station, in a land lease related case, here today.

A cheating case was filed by M Varma for the land Ramoji Rao had taken from him in 1974 for a period of 33 years lease, which expired in 2007. According to city police Narishimarao a case was registered in 1984 following that the corporation had taken some portion of the land, to the tune of 500 sq yards, for widening the road.
