Lady doctor caught red-handed while accepting bribe

Bangalore, Feb 21: A lady doctor working in a Government hospital in the city was trapped by the Lokayukta Police, while accepting a bribe of Rs 3500 to attend a patient here today.

The Lokayukta sources informed that a complaint against a doctor was received stating that a lady doctor working in a government hospital was demanding a bribe of rs 3500 for removing stiches upon a surgery was done and to get discharge from the hospital.

The Lokayukta police who swung into action immediately after receiving the complaint have laid trap for the greedy lady doctor Sudha, a Gynacologist and caught red-handed while accepting the money from the patient.

The doctor was arrested and produced before the magistrate, the sources added.
