KIMS Director M G Hiremath kept under suspension

Hubli, Feb 21 (UNI) Karnataka Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) Managing Director Dr M G Hiremath has been kept under suspension on the charges of misappropriation of funds meant for purchase of medicines for hospital.

Ordering the suspension, Governor Rameshwar Thakur appointed Dr Mallikarjuna Desai to his place on temporary basis.

The Governor has also ordered Lokayukta to inquire into the misappropriation of funds by Dr Hiremath.
