Indian acquitted for locking up Pakistani dancer
Dubai, Feb 21 (UNI) A court here acquitted the Indian Manager of a night club on charges of illegally locking up a Pakistani woman dancer, who perished in a fire caused by her Nepalese roommate.
The 40-year-old manager, who was identified only as DD and another Indian dancer will, however, face charges of unintentionally causing the 19-year-old Pakistani's death, the Khaleej Times said.
The Nepalese girl had lit a prayer lamp and forgot to put it out before leaving the room. The lamp caused the fire which killed the victim.
