ICICI Prudential to hire retired NCO officials
Chennai, Feb 21 (UNI) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company will provide second career opportunities to retired Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) within the company.
The company had instituted a unique Certificate in Insurance Management (CIM) programme in association with STRIVE (Skills Training and Research In Vocational Education), an institute dedicated to vocational education and training, to empower the retired NCOs with the knowledge of life insurance and become effective insurance professionals, a company release said here today.
This was the first of its kind initiative in the life insurance space, designed to provide a talent pool for the company's rural initiative.
Continuing with its trend of setting benchmarks in the industry, ICICI Prudential Life had designed an innovative programme to meet its human resource requirement.
The six-week CIM programme had been designed to equip ex-defence personnel with the nuances of the business while providing a corporate platform within the company.
The course would provide an overview of the insurance industry, in-depth knowledge of the company's products and processes and enable them undergo comprehensive training in customer relationship management and presentation skills.
The NCOs would join ICICI Prudential Life as Unit Managers for the company's rural business.
