Goldstone to launch IPTV in other countries

Hyderabad, Feb 21: IPTV service provider Goldstone Technologies Limited has entered into agreements to launch operations in Thailand, France, Belgium, Spain, Morocco and Malaysia.

In Thailand, the company had partnered with Synap Media and Infotech to launch its operations, a company release said today. The release said negotiations were in an advanced stage to launch operations in Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands and the UK.

The release quoted Goldstone Technologies Limited Chairman Nandan Kundetkar as saying, ''the focus for the IPTV services in Thailand will be on tourism and hospitality industry.'' ''IPTV services will be a key growth driver for Goldstone Technologies in the years ahead. We are hoping to launch commercial services in 10 countries by June this year,'' Mr Kundetkar said.

A project was underway in India in association with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to launch IPTV services, the release added.
