Four injured, CRPF bunker, arms and ammunition damaged in Kashmir
Srinagar Feb 21 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker caught fire near VIP rest house at Sheikh- ul-Aalam airport here damaging arms and ammunition, while four people were injured in two separate road accidents.
Official sources said fire broke out in the bunker of CRPF 119 battalion near the VIP rest house at airport causing damage to it.
A Gun of constable on duty was also damaged in the incident, they said, adding that there was however, no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident.
The fire was brought under control by the timely action of fire tenders while the cause of fire was being ascertained.
In another incident, two people, including a driver, were injured when a three wheeler skidded off the road and fell in a nullah at Srigufwara in Anantnag.
Two more people were injured when two vehicles collided at Khanabal. The injured were hospitalised.
