DREAMS launches Kutti Chetan and Friends
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (UNI) The private owned Deepak Raj Entertainment and Multimedia Solutions Company (DREAMS), today announced the launch of its pet project Kutti Chetan and Friends, a unique, first of its kind, entertainment and multimedia solutions company in Andhra Pradesh.
Dreams has mega plans for creating befitting content for engaging children in entertainment mode, exploring the genre having great potential for growth, Dreams Pvt Ltd Chairman Rajeshwar Rao said here.
The two other Dream projects on the anvil are 'Inside Me' and 'The Trap'. The company, which had spent Rs four crore so far, had plans to invest Rs 12 crore on each of the three projects, including Kutti Chetan and Friends, and was looking at varions debt options for raising Rs 36 crore.
''We are talking to a number of groups, including global, for an outright sale, expecting about 30 per cent profit,'' Mr Rao said, and added ''talking also with toys and gaming companies from Mumbai for 'merchandising' the Kutti Chetan film, its trailer will be showcased at the upcoming 'Frames' conclave, being arranged by FICCI, at Mumbai for greater networking and exposure.'' Produced by V Rajeshwar Rao, and Co-produced and Directed by Deepak Jadhav, Kutti Chetan's production process was underway in six languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bhojpuri and English.
The 100-minute animated feature film, set for release in December 2008, was crafted by a Hollywood scriptwriter. Currently in production stage in India, Manila and the Philippines, 30 plus layout artists and over 70 plus animators were working overtime on this project.
