'Cornerstone' enters Indian market, five outlets in Hyd

Hyderabad, Feb 21 (UNI) Zerostock Retail Pvt Ltd today announced the launch of 'Cornerstone,' its premier menswear brand, with the opening of five exclusive outlets across Hyderabad.

By the end of this month, it would open exclusive outlets in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Jaipur.

Speaking on the occasion, company CEO Ashok Mayya said the brand would continue to expand to have a pan-India presence, looking at 300 stores by December 2008 and 1,000 stores by 2009-10.

It has so far raised four million US Dollar from a ''bunch'' of investors at Hyderabad and the US. Over the next 2-3 months, it would raise an additional Rs 50 crore from private equity and venture capitalists for expansion.
