Centre allows states to go ahead with dehoarding operations

New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) The Centre today extended by another six months, its order empowering the state governments to undertake dehoarding operations and to control the prices of wheat and pulses.

A decision to this effect was taken by a meeting of the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, as part of the efforts to control price rise, an official spokeperson said.
