Alstom India bags export orders worth Rs 592 crore
New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) Alstom today said it has bagged two export orders totaling Rs 592 crore from UAE and Uganda.
''The first order is for Rs 242 crores from Fujairah Independent Water and Power Plant at Fujairah, UAE and the other, worth Rs 350 crores, is for Bujagali Hydro Electric Power Station at Jinja in Uganda,'' a company statement said.
Engineering and supply of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) in Fujairah will be completed by June 2009 and the Hydro order by June 2011.
