42 booked under Gangster Act
Jaunpur, Feb 21 (UNI) As many as 42 notorious criminals were booked here under the Gansgter Act, police said today.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Lalji Shukla said the Kotwali and Line Bazaar station police slapped the accused with the Gangster Act in the last two months.
The criminals were accused of heinous crimes viz murder, attempt to murder, loot, abduction and encroachment of land.
