27 People affected with diarrhoea in Haryana village
Ambala, Feb 21 (UNI) As many as 27 persons, including five children fell sick today due to diarrhoea which spread in the nearby village Janetpur here.
The victims were admitted to the village primary health center and private hospitals for treatment.
The Principal Medical Officer Dr O P Arya with his team rushed to the village and supervised the arrangements made to treat the patients.
Dr Arya said the situation was under control. He said that whole of the village was covered by distributing chloroquin tablets and other medicines among the affected persons.
The SDM M K Ahuja also visited the village and said the water pipelines were being checked to detect leakage. He said that some patients were discharged after giving treatment.
