BBA: Silver, gold open firm on fresh demand

{image-goldbars60 60_20022008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, Feb 20: Silver and gold today opened high at Rs 22,080 per kg and Rs 12,070 per ten gm respectively on fresh demand along with bullish advice from Asian markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay Bullion market today: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 22,080 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,015 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,070.
