Satyam launches training programme for entry-level engineers
Hyderabad, Feb 20 (UNI) IT service provider Satyam today launched a four-month training programme, Satyam Entry-Level Engineering Development (SEED), for entry level engineers.
A company release here said the programme was aimed at building quality resource pool to support engineering programmes of global clients.
To develop and validate the course content, the company had signed MoUs with leading academic institutions like Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai and Central Institute for Tool Design (CITD) Hyderabad.
The release quoted Satyam Integrated Engineering Services Global Head T S K Murthy as saying '' the SEED initiative is a strategic step by Satyam to build a talent pool that will be best-in-class in advanced areas of engineering design and development. We will thus be able to effectively partner with our clients aim to pursue a reduce-cost and grow-profit strategy.'' ''The programme is part of a much bigger strategic competency development programme spread over 2-3 years wherein Satyam will groom engineers into future designers in multiple engineering disciplines like mechanical, electrical and electronics,'' he added.
