Mercury drops to 8.2 degrees C, warmth in air stays
New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) For the first time this week, the mercury in Delhi touched a below ten-degree mark, dropping to 8.2 degrees Celsius today even as warmth in the air since Monday stayed in place.
The minimum dropped slightly to 8.2 degrees C, three degrees below normal. However, the warmth in the air persisted.
A slight fog was witnessed in the morning though visibility remained near normal at 800 m.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi in the next 24 hours with a likelihood of slight mist in the morning.
The minimum is likely to remain at 8 degrees C.
