Manhattan to expand client base in India
Bangalore, Feb 20 (UNI) Manhattan Associates aims to have 30 to 40 clients covering a market share of 40 million US Dollar in the next three years in India specifically targeting organised retail sector, besides planning a substantial increase in headcount.
According to a press release, the company plans to increase its headcount at its R&D Centre here from the current 850 to 1,000 with most of its product offerings being conceptualised, designed and developed from here.
Company CEO Peter F Sinisgalli said here recently ''For any retailer, the biggest challenge is to keep the demand and supply in balance and achieve highest service levels possible with lowest cost.
''In this big flat connected world, it is not enough to just optimise internal operations but to optimise the entire supply chain under which it operates," It was here Manhattan Associates would help the retailers to be more efficient with its supply chain optimisation solutions.
