HEC hands over machine to ISRO
Ranchi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) Limited yesterday handed over a 6-Axis CNC double column vertical turning&boring machine to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Official sources said the machine, designed and manufactured by the HEC, would be used for Satellite Launch vehicles.
The machine contained features like automatic tool changer and live spindle for milling and in-process measuring system.
