East Coast Railway beat Haryana SIDC

Vadakara, Feb 20: East Coast Railway defeated former champions Haryana State Industries Development Corporation (HSIDC) 34-36, 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 in the preliminary round of the Volleyball Championship here.

In the women's section, Western Railway beat Southern Railway 25-17, 25-20, 25-13, thus qualifying for the super league of the national event.

Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), Thiruvananthapuram, had already qualified for the super league beating Sivanthi Volleyball Club, Chennai, on Monday.
