BJP meeting adopts two resolutions
Vijayawada, Feb 20 (UNI) The two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State executive and council meeting adopted two resolutions against the Congress Government in Andhra Pradesh today.
One of the resolutions highlighted irregularities in Indiramma housing scheme, failure to allot houses to the poor under Rajiv Gruhakalpa scheme and delay in implementing Rajiv Swagruha scheme and also Government's failure to control the price hike.
The ISI outfits intruded into Hyderabad and several people from Pakistan and Bangladesh took shelter in the State without genuine documents and the Government was not taking any steps in this issue.
In another resolution, which was related to agriculture, BJP demanded for fixing minimum support price of Rs 1,000 for paddy.
About 2,600 farmers committed suicide in the State due to the anti-farmer policies of the Government, it pointed out.
The resolution demanded that the Government should meet the shortage of fertiliser, subsidies and waive agricultural loans.
