UP govt denies plans to conduct Board exams in English
Lucknow, Feb 19 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has no plans to conduct UP Board of Secondary Education examinations in English medium on the lines of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the State Assembly was informed today.
''At present, the government is not contemplating holding of UP Board examinations for Class X and XII in English medium contrary to speculative reports in this regard,'' UP Secondary Education Minister Rangnath Mishra told the House in a written reply.
He, however, said the earlier practice to supply question papers in English language as well would continue.
