Six held with Uranium worth Rs one crore
Supaul, Feb 19 (UNI) Police today arrested six people for possessing a huge amount of Uranium near a busstand under Birpur police station in this district of Bihar.
Superintendent of Police Shyam Kumar told UNI here that acting on a tip-off police raided a hideout near the bus stand and arrested six people, including a soldier of 18th battalion of SSB, with eight pound of Uranium.
The seized metal is worth of Rs one crore in the international market, Mr Kumar said, adding that an investigation was on.
