Mumbai, Feb 19 (UNI) A private security guards consultant was today trapped by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe, from a client, in the name of top police officers for procuring Arms and Ammunition license.

Police Inspector Ramesh Kadam of the Arms and Ammunition License Department of the city police had lodged a complaint with the ACB office that one Bramhprakash Gupta, having a private security guards consultant office, used to demand money from owners of security guard agencies in the name of top police officers for procuring license for them.

Recently, he had demanded Rs 1.25 lakh from a Private Security Guard agency owner in the name of Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration) for getting license from the Department.

When the ACB sleuths got information about this, they laid a trap and nabbed him while accepting the first installment of Rs 10,000 from a person at the noon today.
