Pak poll winners more astonished than losers: JUI-F

Lahore, Feb 19 : Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the results of Pakistan general election have astonished winners more than the losers.

"The defeat or victory happens in the election, but the results this time were such that the winners were more astonished than the losers," The News quoted Rehman, as saying.

He went on to say that the results appeared to have been subjected to the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

Despite all reservations, Rehman said that he accepts the decision of the people.

He said that his party believes in promoting the democratic process.
