Manipur Assembly Budget Session to begin tomorrow

Imphal, Feb 19 (UNI) The Budget Session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly will begin tomorrow and continue upto March 12.

Official sources said here today that the Session had started on February one and after two days of sittings, Speaker Dr S Budhichandra postponed the House till February 20.

Special security arrangements had been made and the state government had announced special traffic regulations during the Session in and around the Assembly complex.

On the first day of the Session, Supplementary Demands for Grants, 2007-08, and Budget Estimate, 2008-09, would be tabled in the House while on the second day (February 21), the Manipur Appropriation No one Bill, 2008, will be introduced.
