Mah Governor garlands Shivaji Maharaj statue

Mumbai, Feb 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna today garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the occasion of his birth anniversay at Shivaji Park in north central Mumbai.

Mr Krishna also visited Mayor Shubha Raul's bungalow to attend a cultural programme organised by her, a release said here.

Sheriff Prof Indu Shahani, BMC Commissioner Dr Jayraj Pathak, Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Commemoration Committee President Sardar Manmohan Singh Bedi were among the other eminent people present at the occasion, the release added.
