Facinelli, Reaserm, Reed join 'Twilight'

Washington, Feb 19 : Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed have signed on to star in the vampire franchise from Summit Entertainment 'Twilight.'

The latest additions will join Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who are already onboard.

Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are also in the cast as members of the blood-sucking Cullen family.

Catherine Hardwicke is directing the screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg, reports Variety.

'Twilight,' an adaptation of the popular fantasy series by Stephanie Meyer, tells the story of 17-year-old Bella, who moves to a small town in Washington to stay with her father, and is drawn to Edward Cullen (Pattinson), a pale mysterious classmate who comes from a family of vampires.

Karen Rosenfelt, Greg Mooradian and Wyck Godfrey will produce the film along with Mark Morgan via his Maverick Films banner.
