A look at budget to be presented on Feb 29

New Delhi, Feb 18, 2008 : There is something special about the date when P Chidambaram would present his next Budget - Feb 29.

In the last 60 yrs of annual Budget-making only on 8 occasions has a full Budget been presented on Feb 29. For Chidambaram it would also be a historic occasion as he would be presenting his 7th full Budget - 2 under the United Front govt and the rest under the UPA govt. The no. will take him to just one level below Morarji Desai, who presented the largest number of 8 Budgets.
