Two militants arrested with arms in Tripura
Agartala, Feb 18 (UNI) Security forces has apprehended two militants along with arms and ammunition at separate places of the state in past 48 hours and handed them over to police.
According to report, Assam Rifles jawans arrested one Arun Debbarma (34) of Champahower area of West Tripura on February 16 midnight along with a point 38 revolver and 5 rounds of cartridges.
Meanwhile, the villagers of Sonamura, the bordering town of Tripura has detained one Udai Tripura along with a country made gun when he was moving suspiously in the area yesterday.
Subsequently he was handed over to Sonamura police station, report said adding that he was believed to come from across the border.
