Two militants arrested along with arms, student kidnapped in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two militants, including one belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), along with arms and ammunition while a 9th class student was abducted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

Police at Pulwama arrested a HM militant Bilal Ahmad Naik along with one pistol, four magazines and six rounds at Babapora last night, the sources added.

Another militant Bashir Ahmad Rather was arrested at Beerwah in the central Kashmir district of Badgam along with one pistol and a magzine.

Meanwhile, a 9th class student, Sarwar Ahmad Lone was kidnapped by some unidentified people from a medical shop at Parimpora.

Police had launched a massive hunt to trace him, the sources said.
