Three held with one kg opium

Jalandhar, Feb 18 (UNI) Police today arrested three persons, including two brothers, and siezed nearly one kg of opium from their possession here.

Police said the arrested persons were identified as Raman and Rinku, both brothers and residents of village Folriwal in the district and Balraj Singh of village Tajpur.

A case under sections 16-61-85 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused and further investigations were on, police said.
