Soren appears in Giridih court
Giridih, Feb 18 (UNI) Former union minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Sibu Soren today appeared before a local court in more than three-decade-old Kudco killing in the district.
Mr Soren appeared before the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (First) Radha Mohan Tiwary, who fixed March 15 as next date of hearing of the case.
According to prosecution, the witnesses of the case were supposed to appear before the court, but none appeared during today's proceeding.
Altogether 19 people had been made witnesses.
Nine among them had lost their lives, whereas six had already been produced.
Four of them were yet to be produced the court.
Three people were killed in 1974 at Kudco under Peertand police station of the district and Mr Soren along with eight others had been made accused.
