Quack arrested with prohibited drugs
Jalandhar, Feb 18 (UNI) Police today arrested a quack and seized prohibited drugs from his clinic being run at village Raiwala Donna under Shahkot Police Station in the district.
Police said that a police team, along with a drug inspector and a doctor from civil hospital, raided the clinic being run by one Balraj Kumar of village Haveli Patta and siezed prohibited drugs only to be administered under medical prescription.
Police said that Balraj was neither a qualified doctor nor possessed any license to run the clinic.
A case under sections 420 of IPC, 22-61-85 of NDPS Act and 15 of Indian Medical Council Act was registered against the accused, police said.
