Mauritius PM donates 2.5 lakh dollar for Harigaon village
Patna, Feb18(UNI)Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam today announced to donate 2.5 lakh dollars for alround development infrastructural facilities at his ancestral village Harigaon in Bhojpur district of Bihar.
Mr Ramgoolam made the announcement at the banquet hosted in his honour by Bihar governor R S Gavai at Rajbhawan.''Fund offered by the Mauritius government will be utilised for construction of school and hospital besides development of other infrastructural facilties'', he added.
Speaking on the occasion, R S Gavai said,'' The cultural ties between Mauritious and Bihar will attain a new high with the visit of Mr Ramgoolam here''.
