Groundnut, its oils, palm oil down on large stock arrivals

Mumbai, Feb 18 (UNI) Prices of groundnut and its oil along with kardi and imported palm oils suffered a major setback today on sluggish demand from bulk consumers in view of subdued advice from producing centres like Gujarat and Karnataka, traders said.

Groundnutseed fell by Rs 100 per quintal and its oil eased by Rs 25 per 10 kg. Palmolein eased by Rs 15 per ten kg due to slack demand from bulk consumers and retailers in the face of improved arrivals of stocks from producing areas.
