Fire at UP Agro: Property worths lakhs gutted

Lucknow, Feb 18 (UNI) Government documents and property worth several lakhs of rupees were reduced to rubble in a raging inferno at Uttar Pradesh Agro here today.

The incident occurred in Bazar Khala area of the state capital.

Fourteen fire tenders were pressed into service, which near two-and-a-half hrs to put off the blaze, CFO Aman Sharma said.

Meanwhile, UP Agro ordered an inquiry into the incident.
