Explosion kills 1 in Junagadh

Rajkot, Feb 18 (UNI) A 10-year-boy was killed and two others injured in a powerful explosion at Mithivav area of Mangrol in Junagadh district today.

Inspector General of Police (Rajkot range) V V Rabari, who is also the in-charge of Junagadh Range, told UNI that the blast occurred at around 0830 hrs in Mangrol area. A police party and the experts of Forensic Science Laboratry (FSL) from Junagadh was rushed to the spot immediately, Mr Rabari added.

The deceased was identified as Abu Bakar Hasan Billy.

The two critically injured people, identified as Ayasha Ismail Billy (25) and Imran Billy (12) were admitted to Junagadh hospital, police added.

The police are investigating the cause and nature of the explosion.
