New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Delhi Government today constituted a five-member pay revision committee for employees of the erstwhile Delhi Vidyut Board (DVB).
Delhi Finance, Planning and Power Minister Dr A K Walia said the pay revision committee, headed by Justice Lokeshwar Prasad, would look into issues relating to pay revision of employees of the four companies of the then DVB.
The companies are Delhi Transco Ltd (DTL), Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd (IPGCL), Pragati Power Corporation Ltd (PPCL) and Delhi Power Company Ltd (DPCL), a holding company.
The Committee, having three members and a Member Secretary, would examine the structure of pay allowances and other facilities besides benefits and structure of pension, death-cum-retirement gratuity, family pension and other terminal or recurring benefits.
Four separate wage committees would also be notified so that coherence and congruence between the recommendations for each of the four companies could be maintained, he added.
Dr Walia said the Committee was being requested to submit its recommendations within six months. However, the Committee would be at liberty to submit interim recommendations, he added.
The last wage revision committee was constituted in 1994.
