Couple dies in accident, child injured
Muktsar, Feb 18 (UNI) A couple was killed and their four-year old son sustained injuries when the motorcycle in which they were travelling was hit by a tanker in Thiri village in this district.
According to police, in the accident yesterday, 34-year-old Kulwinder Singh and his wife Manjit Kaur (28) died on the spot while their four-year-old son was seriously injured. The child was immediately rushed to Bathinda Civil Hospital.
The police has registered a case against the absconding tanker driver.
