Committee to formulate a Traffic Management Plan in Haryana
Chandigarh, Feb 18 (UNI) The Haryana Government has decided to constitute a committee to formulate a Traffic Management Plan of Gurgaon and other towns of the state.
This was stated by the Chief Secretary Promilla Issar after attending the Fourth Divisional Development Review Session of Gurgaon Division through video conferencing here today.
The committee, consisting of Transport and Urban Development departments and Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), will have the Chief Secretary as chairperson.
She said that various issues pertaining to the development works of districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mewat, Rewari and Mahindergarh were discussed and out of these some of the issues were settled on the spot.
The Chief Secretary informed that the progress under the 12th Finance Commission, HRDF and Chief Minister's announcements were also reviewed in this video conferencing.
She said that various problems relating to development works of the Departments of Revenue, Development and Panchayats, Social Justice, Water Supply and Sanitation, Urban Development, B&R and Co-ordination were also also discussed.
