8 naxals die in Chhattisgarh encounter
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 18 (UNI) Eight naxals, including three women, were shot dead in a police encounter near Bijapur district's Etakmita village today.
''Three guns were seized from the spot,'' said Inspector-General (Bastar Range) R K Vij.
The encounter took place when a team from Bhairamgarh Police Station was rushing to forests of Tedkal Hills where five Central Reserve Police Force constables and three Maoists were killed in an encounter earlier today.
