Vocalist Shripati Paadigar passes away

Hubli, Feb 17 (UNI) Noted Hindustani Vocalist Shripati Paadigar (78) died in the early hours here today.

Paadigar, a disciple of veteran Hindustani vocalist Pt Bhimsen Joshi, had won several awards and prizes in classical music.

Veteran classical vocalist Gangubai Hangal mourned the death of the great singer.
